IFCW™ - Lousiville, Kentucky

The adaptable technology of the IFCW™ responded perfectly to the unique needs of the Louisville Slugger Field project. Located in the new stadium development area was a pre-existing Corps of Engineers concrete flood protection wall built after the 1937 flood. Due to the location of the concrete wall and its negative visual impact, a new flood protection method had to be found. The solution was innovative. The existing visual concrete wall was demolished to below sub-grade. Then the IFCW™ anchoring system and base plate were mounted and a new concrete cap was poured attaching the new IFCW™ technology to the old Corps of Engineers concrete sub-structure.
